Omega is a roguelike game with rather more amusement value.
This version (0.80) is a bugfix release of 0.75, 0.78, 0.78.1, 0.79

The file suffix .tar.gz in this directory means 'tar'ed and 'gzip'ed,
while .gz is simply 'gzip'ed.
(gzip is GNU's zip program - it's available from any site carrying
the GNU distribution, such as prep.ai.mit.edu in pub/gnu)

The most recent version of omega is omega0.80.2.tar.gz
(The older version, omegav0.80.1.tar.gz was released on the 28th of June 1994.)

omega80patch2.gz is a patch file from 0.80.1 to 0.80.2

omexe802.zip is a zip file containing the 386/486 executable of 0.80.2
(and is all you need if you just want to play the game on an IBM)

ami_omega0.80.2.lha is an lha file containing the Amiga executable of 0.80.2
(and is all you need if you just want to play the game on an Amiga)
