Esperanto
An introduction and reference for English speakers.

Note.
As is common on the Web and Usenet, the x-method (iksa metodo) is used throughout these pages for representing the five accented letters of Esperanto. This involves attaching the letter x after the letter which would be accented. So, for instance, cx represents the accented letter c. The letter x is not used in Esperanto, so if one appears in an Esperanto word here, it represents an accent on the character that precedes it; that is, an x does not represent a letter, but rather an accent.
