The stars have just come out.
I'm standing at your open door
And you're standing in front of me
All the pressures and disappointments
Of my life weigh down upon my shoulders
And your shoulders may be heavy too

There's a time when I would have Walked away, scared to make a move And I'm scared now, but it Doesn't seem to be stopping me

You've had a nice time, you say And I say that I did too I move to kiss you good-night But you hold a finger to my lips The night's just begun, you say And the stars have just come out

There's a time in everyone's life When you have to decide what it is That you want And tonight, my dear, I want You
