I will remember tonight.
|
I can picture her now
Such a soft, dark face
With big brown eyes
Looking deep inside of me
Some time ago
We met
In a quiet restaurant
She sipped her wine
And I just smiled
And watched
And as she ate her food
I saw something
In her eyes
I still don't know
Quite what it was
It was something
That whispered
Quietly to me
And it said
I will remember tonight
And you
For years to come
And when I saw
The look in her eyes
I knew that she loved me
And I knew that she was mine
To have and to hold
Forever
Until death do us part
